Maa Mangala Self Help Group's story

Bishnupriya is a 39-year-old lady. She is staying in Odisha with her husband and her three children, who are in schooling. Her husband is a farmer. For the past twelve years, she has been engaged in the activity of selling cow milk in her village. Her husband assists her in this activity. Bishnupriya is a very responsible and ambitious woman. She is the leader of the group, Maa Mangala Self Help Group (SHG). There are ten members in the group, and all are women. The members of the group are involved in different kind of activities like agriculture, and some have grocery shops. She, along with her group, has requested a loan of 1,900,000 INR to purchase a cow and to repair her cow shed. Bishnupriya has a dream to provide a better education to her children.
