A loan of $600 helped to pay for fertilizers, seeds and other tools for the maintenance of the farm.

Roberto's story

This is Roberto. His previous loan helped him a lot in his farming business. The loan also helped with his household expenditures. He and his wife are working hard to provide for their everyday needs.

He would like to apply for a new 25,000 PHP (Philippines pesos) loan that he will be utilizing to buy fertilizers, seeds and other tools for the maintenance of the farm. His profits from his business will definitely help him to sustain their daily needs. He looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in his heart.

Roberto hopes that his farm will continue to expand. As a CCT community partner, he meets up with his co-fellowship* members to share stories of his work every week, and this is where he can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God he studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
