Chút is 60 years old and married with five children. Her children are grown and she has no dependents. For more than ten years, Chút has run a grocery where she sells dry food in Thieu Hoa district, a rural town in Thanh Hoa province. She joined the Thanh Hoa Fund for Poor Women in 2012 to improve her business and has successfully repaid two previous loans. Chút's greatest business challenge is her lack of capital.

Chút is the leader of theệu Khánh solidarity group, comprised of five members. She is requesting a loan to purchase general items to sell such as milk, sugar, candy, and processed seafood. Chút hopes to use the profit from her loan to maintain a successful business and buy land of her own. She hopes that her business will do well.
