A loan of $1,000 helped to buy ceramic tiles for the bathroom of his house.

German's story

Germán is married and has two school-age children. They live in their own house, which is located in the Achumani zone of the city of La Paz. He currently works as an employee in a private company, for more than eight hours a day, since his earnings allow him to cover the costs of food, education and basic services for his family.

He requires a loan for the purchase of ceramic tiles for the bathroom of his home since he hopes to improve his family's quality of life and give them more comfort and security. Germán's dream is to have his own construction business since he makes a living as a civil engineer, in order to improve his earnings. This is the first time he is requesting a loan with IMPRO and Kiva.
