Artur's story

Artur is 44 years old, and he lives in the small but very beautiful city of Sevan in the Gegharkunik area. He lives with his retired parents, wife and two children. For some time he used to work as a driver but now he is in the military service. However, the main income for their family comes from farming.

Together with his wife, Artur keeps five cows, four bulls, four calves and fifty chickens on their farm. As a result of their hard and tireless work, they are able to sell meat and dairy products to re-sellers and thereby provide a basic living condition for their family.

Artur needs 1,000,000 Armenian drams to buy one cow and a lot of fodder for his cattle to provide for them during the winter months. It is Artur's first loan with Kiva, and he is sure that after it will be a continuous relationship.
