Rukia rents a house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food for the family and school fees for the children.
For the past two years, she has operated a gravel selling business. She sells from home to her neighbors and passersby. Her major challenge in the business is the high cost of transportation. With the loan she is requesting, she wants to purchase more gravel for resale to meet the demands of her customers. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
