Marina was born in the Republic of Kazakhstan but after several years she moved to her motherland, Armenia. In the small city of Kapan she graduated from secondary school and then Yerevan State Linguistic University. Now she works at Kajaran School as a director of studies. Marina is married and she has two children, both of whom are students. At the same time, Marina and her husband have been involved in farming and agriculture for ten years. They have a private plot of land, where they keep bee hives. The income they earn from farming is not large but it helps to meet their family's needs. Marina relies on the help of neighbors and fellow villagers, who sell her produce in their stalls.

Marina wants to try to improve her fortunes by increasing her beekeeping activities. She needs a loan of 1,000,000 Armenian drams (AMD) in order to buy 20 hives and also to buy seedlings for cultivation. She will be very grateful to Kiva lenders if they support her.
