A loan of $2,400 helped a member to purchase clothes.

Mama Africa Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 31-year-old Junia from Masvingo. She is married with three children, one attending school. Junia runs a clothing business, which sells clothes. The business has been in operation for 2 years. She says the main challenge being faced is that of high import duties on clothes at the border post. Junia has requested a loan of $800 to buy clothes for resale. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to increase her income and thereby improve the family's welfare. In the future, Junia plans to open a boutique in town.
