As a widowed parent of four children, Modesta works hard to support her family.
She has a business buying and selling of rice grains in the Philippines. She also earns income from a general store and rice farming. Modesta is borrowing PHP 10,000 through NWTF to purchase additional sacks of rice to sell for her business.
Modesta has been sustaining her business activities through her past two loans from NWTF. She hopes that her hard work will help her attain her dream of saving enough money to afford sending her children to college.
