A loan of $2,550 helped a member to buy yarn, needles, fabric and other supplies.

Nueva Esperanza Group's story

Nueva Esperanza is a group of enterprising women in their twelfth cycle of the Women’s Committee program. The group currently has 13 members. They are characterized by their responsibility, excellent payment fulfillment, and participation. The women are mothers who fight for their children to be able to give them what they need each day.

One of the stories worth telling is that of Mrs. Angelina. She is 57 years old and has worked exclusively in weaving all kinds of crafts for 30 years. She says that this has been her sustenance and that of her whole family. She is a very hardworking and honest person above all, and she has always worked.

Mrs. Angelina is applying for this loan to be able to invest it in buying yarn, needles, fabric, and other supplies to continue with her crafts and be able to show the world her creativity.

In this group: Angelina, Maria, Rosa, Dominga, Irma, Zacarías, Laura, Felicita, Blanca, Candida, Fanny, María, Justa*
