A loan of $400 helped to buy five sacks of fertilizer and other farming supplies to cultivate 7,000 square meters of corn and 7,000 square meters of beans.

Darío Esau's story

Darío is 47 years old. He is married and has four children. He has made a living growing corn and beans for the last 20 years. Darío began learning about farming at a very young age because his father did not send him to school. For this reason, Darío works raising animals and farming. He plants on the slopes of a mountain. He carries fertilizer and other supplies up on his back because the streets are not maintained and vehicles cannot pass.

Darío is requesting this loan from Fundación Campo in order to buy 5 sacks of fertilizer and other farming supplies to cultivate 7,000 square meters of corn and 7,000 square meters of beans. With the loan, he will be able to buy everything he needs at once and use them it the appropriate time and quantities. Darío's goal is to build a house made of brick because the one he has currently is made of adobe and in very bad condition.
