A loan of $1,300 helped to buy groceries.

Mirna Lidia's story

Mirna, 37, is single and lives with her parents in the IAN Tarrales area of the town of Chocola in San Pablo Jocopilas, Suchitepequez.

Currently she has a grocery store in her house that's a source of income for her family. She started this job five years ago, seeing that her family and neighbors needed a grocery store in their community.

She's requesting a loan for 10,000 quetzales [GTQ] to buy more products and expand her grocery store. This way she can give better customer service and earn more income to support her family.

Her dream is to improve her business and expand it with other products.
