A loan of $325 helped to purchase different types of seeds with packs of insecticides and pesticides.


Muglani's story

Muglani is a 52-year-old married woman and a mother of four children. She is trying hard to fulfill their demands including food, health, clothing and education. Ten years ago, she started her own business of agriculture with the support of her husband. The man shown in the photo is her husband, who assists her by watering the soil for getting good quality production. They crop different kinds of vegetables and fruits and sell them in the local market.

She has gradually improved her business with the support of Kashf Foundation. In order to purchase different types of seeds with packs of insecticides and pesticides, Muglani applied a loan of 30,000 PKR (Pakistan rupees). She is in her second loan cycle. This loan would help her to grow more crops, which ultimately helps in generating more cash.
