Terlan's story

Terlan is 27 years old, married, and has one child. He is an IDP (internally displaced person) and lives in the Bilasuvar IDP Settlement. Terlan is a Fuzulu refugee. He raises cattle, fattens them, and sells them for a profit, which he has been doing for five years. He is very kind, caring, and energetic in his work. This is a very profitable business and he is doing it together with his wife.

Terlan sells meat at the central bazaar. In Azerbaijan, there is a high demand for meat because it is used in a lot of meals, such as kufta (soup), kababs, dolma, etc. His income from this business is 195 AZN a month. In order to fully support the family, Terlan is looking to expand the business and make it very successful. With a good loan history, he is requesting his third loan for 2,000 AZN, which he will use to buy small calves.
