Buyankhuu's story

Mrs. Buyankhuu, 42 years old, lives with her husband and children in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. The family resides in their old house on a plot of land. She and her husband have been making interior decoration to entities on contract for about 10 years and have accumulated a vast amount of experience. This year, due to the presidential election, the interior decoration orders are minimal, so they decided to renovate their old house using this spare time.

She is requesting a loan of 7,000,000 MNT (Mongolian tugriks) to purchase building and insulation materials such as bricks, cements, planks, fiberglass and foam. Using those materials, they will repair and insulate their old house. As a result, the renovated house will enable the family to reduce their coal consumption and release less pollutants, thus contributing to the efforts against air pollution. The borrower is a very hardworking individual who strives for a better future.
