Forevergreen Counseling Ministries is an educational ministry that preaches the word of God on Sundays and completes ministry work Monday through Saturday.
Owned by Billie, a devoted 54-year-old woman, the ministry offers a range of services. As Billie tells it, the ministry is a vessel to educate children, offer marriage counseling, and help others daily.
Along with her team, Billie tries to attend as many conventions to help improve her ministry when possible and conducts most of her service work outside the ministry. To enhance the amount of people Billie reaches through the ministry, she reached to Accion Texas Inc. for a loan; $4,375 paid for a car for one of her team members, which will also allow for transporting students to and from school. “They’re helping us to help other people,” she says.
Billie says the amount of work she is doing now, is only half of what is in store for Forevergreen. She began a youth program YOU, Youth Org United, which she plans to continue, and writes and sings songs and is ready to produce a CD to promote God through the power of music.
She said to the Accion staff, “Thanks for helping me.”
