Eduardo's story

A loan of $8,550 helps Eduardo to increase inventory to offer a wider range of merchandise to his customers.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Eduardo began learning about the jewelry industry in his teenage years. First, he worked as an apprentice and then moved to work in a production line for a local manufacturer. When he moved to the U.S. 25 years ago, he continued to pursue his passion for jewelry design and reports by working for several jewelry factories. While he originally operated a jewelry business in a storefront, in 2012 he decided to register as a sole proprietor to begin his business in an existing space, World of Watches, a jewelry store located in a busy shopping plaza in Las Vegas. Eduardo’s main focus is on selling and repairing jewelry. The success of his business is due to his ability to provide outstanding customer service by finding and designing jewelry pieces unique to clients' requests.

Eduardo’s vision for the future is multifaceted: personally, he wants to create a better life for his family and to leave a successful business for his two children to take over. From a business standpoint, he aspires to become a known, respected, and honest jeweler, not only among peers, but also within his community.
