Mariana's story

Mariana is a married woman with five children. She rents a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is school fees.

She operates a vegetable stall business, selling from home to her neighbours and passersby. She faces stiff competition from other vegetable operators in her business.

With the Kshs 30,000 she wants to purchase sacks of tomatoes, potatoes, fruit, and green vegetables for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
