Ashraq Group's story

This group is called Ashraq. It consists of four women who live in Sana`a, Yemen. Collectively, they took out a loan of 120,000 YER from Al-Amal Microfinance Bank (AMB). Wahba is the leader of this group. She is a 34-year-old married woman with four children. She is an uneducated woman who wishes to raise her children up well. She has a small amount to buy home furnishings, but it is not enough. Therefore, she applied for a loan of 30,000 YER from AMB to buy furniture for her house.
