A divorced father of two, Simon lives with his children in a four-bedroom apartment in Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon. Simon has faced many problems in life, among which are the deaths of his mother and father when he could barely take care of himself, as well as his younger sister. Additionally, difficulties in single-handedly raising his two children who were abandoned by their mother when they were still young, their constant sickness, accidents that almost took his life, and poverty have proven to be real obstacles.

Having received and repaid several loans, Simon has requested a new one to expand his piggery farm by buying more piglets and constructing a fence for them. With the experience he has gained over the the past seven years, Simon is confident about obtaining maximum profit from the business, which provides the community with pigs used in ceremonial activities like marriage, birth and death celebrations.

With the profits from this loan, Simon will educate his children, provide three daily meals to his family, buy his children's medication and provide other necessities for them. He prefers GHAPE loans because of low interest rates and convenient repayment intervals.
