Mariana, 65, lives here. She’s married and was unable to have children of her own but has two that she raised as if they had been hers. Both are adults now; the younger one attends university and both still live with her. Her husband is a farmer.

Mariana is a very hardworking woman who likes to get ahead by means of her own efforts. She works in commerce. She has a grocery store at home where she also sells home appliances and housewares. She works every day from 7am until 8pm; her daughter helps her with the business when she’s not otherwise occupied. She’s had her business for more than 14 years now and it has brought her much satisfaction.

This loan is to buy foodstuffs and housewares to stock her store. She’s a founding member of the communal bank and she likes it because the loans have helped her much. Her dream is to continue working and that the business grows more.
