A loan of $450 helped to buy shoes, perfume, bras and underpants.

Mirian Del Rosario's story

Mirian is an entrepreneurial woman who, for the past 26 years, has worked as a janitor in a school in her town. She also has a business selling shoes, perfume, bras and underpants with the aim of making additional income in order to improve her living conditions as her janitor's salary is low and she needs the extra income to improve her living conditions. She is single. Mirian currently needs a loan and so she came to Ceprodel's offices. She will use her loan to buy shoes, perfume, bras and underwear which she will then re-sell. This will enable her to cover some personal needs. She is grateful for Ceprodel and Kiva lenders' goodwill, for giving the poorest people the support they need when they need it.
