A loan of $225 helped to buy medicine for his mother.

Francisco Jacob's story

Francisco Jacob is a young 21 years old and he is from the El Sauce neighborhood. In spite of being so young, he is very responsible and dedicated to his mother. He tries to help her as much as he can financially, since she works hard as a domestic worker in order to support the rest of her children.

This young man helps his mother bring home the bread every day. He works as a street cleaner and every morning gets up at 4 AM to begin cleaning the different streets in his neighborhood.

In spite of the fact that his salary is very low, he is dedicated and tries his best because he feels thankful to God and his employer that he has this dignified work while there are so many people in Nicaragua that go hungry because they don't have jobs.

For the first time, he came to Ceprodel to seek a loan with funding from Kiva so that he can buy medicine for his mother. She needs to improve her health and she will only be able to get better with the help from this financing.

He believes with great faith that the financial help from the investors is of paramount importance to improve his mother's health.
