A loan of $425 helped to pay her daughter's university expenses.

Sereno Del Socorro's story

Doña Sereno is originally from the town of El Sauce. She works as a caretaker in an institute of this town, and in spite of earning so little, she does her work with conscientiousness and enthusiasm, because it is what allows her to bring daily bread to her household.

She is a woman who has struggled to raise her four children, who are in school, one of them at the university. She deserves admiration for the great strength that she transmits to her children, because she has only the income from her salary, since a few months ago the father of her children died, and he was helping them financially.

For this reason, it is now difficult for her to pay the university expenses of her daughter, who is close to completing her course of study. With the goal that her daughter won't leave her studies, she is applying to Ceprodel for a loan of Kiva funds to pay all the university expenses for the remainder of the year, all this sacrifice so that her daughter can prepare professionally and in the future find a dignified job.

She trusts in God that the Kiva investors will approve her application so that she can complete her objective.
