A loan of $400 helped to buy seeds, manure, insecticide, etc.

Juan Isidro's story

Juan is 52 years old and works in agriculture. He has worked hard growing corn, sorghum, and jocote (hog plum) for 20 years, which enables him to put food on the table. He is a hard-working, honorable, and responsible man. He lives with his family which is made up of his six children aged 19, 16, 14, 12, 10, and 5. He and his wife work hard to provide for the family. Thanks to his knowledge of farming, which is his sole source of income, he has been able to support his family. This is the only way he knows how to make a living in an honorable way. He has a strong desire to progress in life, and this is why he came to the institution to apply for a loan which he will invest in the purchase of farming supplies such as seeds, manure, insecticides, etc. for sowing his crops. He trusts in God and in his work that this will help him to have an abundant harvest and, in this way, he will be able to get a better quality of life for him and his family.
