A loan of $425 helped to help her purchase more sugar, flour, and oil.

Adjowa's story

After graduating middle school, Adjowa decided to set up her own doughnut business in Nkontrodo (near Cape Coast). With over 16 years worth of experience, she is currently looking to expand her enterprise further. Unfortunately, she is limited due to a lack of funding. As a result, this loan will be used to help her purchase more sugar, flour, and oil. She aims at using the profits from her business to help support her husband (who is a gas station attendant) with the upkeep of their house whilst ensuring that their six children are able to experience a better life.
