Nany's story

Nany lives and works in St. Paul. St. Paul is home to the oldest market in Liberia and is known for their fish due to its location by the sea. St. Paul is a suburb located just outside Monrovia, past the Free-port. It is one of the poorer areas and you will often find its residents living in sub-standard housing.

Nany is 30 years old, she is single and has a 2 years old child. Her child live at home and in school. She completed 12 grades.

She runs a shop business selling used slippers. She describes herself as a serious businesswoman. She started her business 15 years ago, using money given to her by her husband. Typically, she works 7 am to 6 pm from Monday to Saturday at her business and transports her goods to her business by taxi. She cites her greatest challenge as not enough capital. She is proud of her business because it supports her home.

Using the proceeds of this loan, she intends to purchase more used slippers for her business. In the future, she plans to build her house and educate her children. She sincerely thanks you in advance for your support.
