Pauline's story

Pauline lives in Mombasa, Kenya. She is married and has three children. Two of them attend school. For three years, she has been running two retail shops. She sells Maize flour, beans and cooking oil just to mention a few of the items.

She learned about Milango through friends and in order to access credit, she joined. Now she seeks a loan of 31,500 Kenya shilling to be able to buy five bundles of maize flour, a 50 kg sack of rice and cooking oil as stock for her shop. She wants to grow the shops to a wholesale shop. The major challenge she faces is inflation effects.
