Sabran's story

Sabran is a 43-year-old hardworking women living with her husband and two children in Rawalpindi Pakistan. They have three buffaloes and her husband sells buffalo milk to their neighbors and other people, which is the only source of income for their family. Sabran wants to sell milk, yogurt and butter in the market on a large scale for which the production should be increased.

Sabran is facing a very difficult time as her monthly income is insufficient to meet the household expenses. She has requested a loan from Kiva’s partner BRAC Pakistan to buy a new buffalo in order to increase the production of milk and get her monthly income increased. After getting the profit, she is planning to send her children to school. She is very hopeful that the loan will be a productive one for them. She is very thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan for their support.
