A loan of $1,375 helped a member to purchase inventory -- dishes and foodstuffs -- and increase income.

Pan Sellers Group's story

Kadiatu C. is 50 years old and married with three children. She sells dishes in the town of Magburaka, Sierra Leone, and the surrounding villages. With her previous loan from Kiva, Kadiatu increased her stock and diversified her outreach, extending her sales to the surrounding villages. Kadiatu is happy that with her increased income, she was able to meet one of her children's school requirements. She would now like to continue expanding her business.

Marie C. owns a local restaurant and would like to purchase bags of rice, gallons of palm oil and vegetables; Fatmata F. owns a food market and Mariam C. sells dishes. The group is requesting a loan to expand their businesses.
