A loan of $1,175 helped to buy wholesale clothing.

Retina's story

Retina, 28, lives in her own home with her husband and 2 children. She sells second-hand clothes for a living, which she does at a store based in her own home, but she also sells her products to the communities in the surrounding area. She has been running this business for 6 years. When she was 18, she helped her mother to run her business and since then she planned to have her own business. She comments that her business is profitable because she has lots of customers and also that because she buys wholesale she makes a good profit. She tells us that before she started her business, she did not have her own site and had to move from place to place, then she decided to rent an establishment on a busy street and since then she has set up a comfortable and presentable store in her home. She will be her sixth Kiva loan and she feels grateful for the financial support that it offers. With the requested sum of 3200 PEN she will buy wholesale clothes to sell in her store.
