Agueda dreams of becoming a professional, but without a degree knows it may never be possible. Agueda is currently attending the Instituto Tecnológico Caranavi, working towards her degree in business. She plans on graduating in December 2014, but without a loan from Vittana she thinks that she may need to take time off to work and save money until she can return to school.
With the loan, Agueda plans on purchasing her much needed textbooks and school supplies. With the proper books, Agueda feels she will be able to study more effectively and earn better grades. One of her biggest challenges has been making time to work and go to school. With a career in business, she expects to earn $15 a day, a substantial increase from before. With one older sibling Agueda is unsure how she will be able to afford her tuition fees on her own. To help afford her school and living expenses, Agueda currently works 25 hours a week as a vendedora.
