Whatsapp Girls Group's story

Whatsapp girls is a group of four Filipino women working as housekeepers for Lebanese families. They met in Lebanon and have been friends ever since. They took the decision to initiate the group and contact Al Majmoua because they are each in dire need of a microloan. Jennylind is the group leader and featured member of the group, standing second to the right of the picture. She is a 31-year-old divorced woman and has a child who lives in the Philippines with her retired parents. Her ex-husband does not participate to the financial resources of the family, which makes her the single provider of the family. However, she barely earns enough to provide for her own expenses, which is why she truly needs the Al Majmoua loan, especially because she has to pay the schooling tuition fees of her child.

Jocelyn is a 40-year-old married mother of three children, standing second to the left of the picture. Her husband is unemployed, which also makes her the only provider of the family, with barely enough money to cover her own expenses. She needs the Al Majmoua loan in order to be able to send her three children back to school.

Myra is a 25-year-old single young lady, standing on the far left of the picture. She wishes to acquire the Al Majmoua loan in order to help her retired parents back in the Philippines.

Jennifer is a 31-year-old single woman, standing on the far right of the picture. Just like Myra, she wishes to help her retired parents back in the Philippines.
