Chanry is 48 years old. She is married and resides with her two children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been employed as a nurse for more than ten years, earning approximately $4 daily. Her husband is a construction foreman who makes an income of $6 each day.
In order to improve her husband’s business, Chanry is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase more construction tools to use in his work. This purchase will enable him to bid for bigger construction projects and earn more income for the family.
In the future, she would like to build a fence around her house and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees.
