Herminia Andrea
Herminia is a 46 year old woman who lives in the city of Pucallpa with her two children, who she loves and who are the principle reason for her life. She is a very kind, hard-working and enthusiastic person who dedicates all of her efforts to helping her family get ahead. She has always been both mother and father to her children. Sadly due to a lack of economic resources, and the necessity to work, Herminia has not been able to study the professional career of Gastronomy that she would have liked. In her free time she likes to cook delicious desserts to share with her family.

On her own initiative, with much hard work and dedication, Herminia works in her small business selling fruits from her city, such as plantains. She also sells varied set-price meals of traditional dishes from her city. She works every day for around 12 hours and she believes that things are going well because of her good spices and for the kind way she treats others.

Herminia is very thankful to the Kiva lenders, since thanks to their help she will be able to improve her small restaurant. She wants to buy wood, corrugated iron, batten, and other items, which will serve to improve her restaurant. She will also buy drinks and food in order to prepare the meals that she sells. In this way Herminia will continue working and pushing herself to achieve her great dream of seeing her children become good professionals.
