A loan of $650 helped to buy lard, eggs, oil, toilet paper, chicken, meat, sausages, tomato paste, spaghetti, and soft drinks for her business.

Martires's story

Mártires, 42, lives in a home located in a village of San Lorenzo, a valley in the southern area of Honduras. She has made a living for several years selling food products and groceries in general.

Mártires' business is located in her home. She is requesting a loan to purchase products such as lard, eggs, oil, toilet paper, chicken, meat, sausage, tomato paste, spaghetti and soft drinks of all varieties.

Mártires, with the support of this loan, hopes to increase her inventory and be able to have all the products her clients demand and that way she can get ahead with all of her commitments and improve her quality of life and that of her family.

Mártires' dream is to get her children to graduate.

San Lorenzo, Honduras - May 2013.
