A loan of $600 helped to buy young chickens and chicken feed.

Mariam's story

Mariam is a married woman who lives in Senegal. She is actively involved in raising livestock and has been working as a poultry farmer for five years. She is a client of one of the branches of the UIMCEC, and she is requesting a loan of 300,000 CFA francs to place an order of young chickens and buy chicken feed.

Mariam wants to increase her production in order to meet her customers' increasing demand. As a result, this will allow her to increase her profits, improve her family's food conditions and further strengthen her working capital.

Mariam would like to have a much larger farm, so that she could increase her poultry production.
