That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Nozimakhon's story

Nozimakhon is a young single woman. She is 21 years old. She lives together with her parents in the city of Tursun-zoda. Nozimakhon is a very capable and entrepreneurial young woman. After graduating from school, she learned how to sew and is now involved in embroidering women's national dresses. Despite her young age, Nozimakhon is involved in two types of businesses. Concurrently, she and her mother are involved in agriculture. They have a small plot of land by their house, where they grow vegetables, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. Nozimakhon has been involved in these businesses for three years. She is requesting this loan to plant vegetables and to purchase a sewing machine. In the future, she wants to use her profits to open an atelier.
