A loan of $1,000 helped buy cloth, thread, elastics, and buttons for his tailor shop.

Isai Francisco's story

Isai is a young man, 25 years of age, and the father of 2 children, ages 5 and 2. They all reside in the city of Managua. He is a tailor, having learned from his father who is also dedicated to the trade. Isai began helping his father at the age of 10. Upon reaching 18, he became independent and began his own shop.

Presently, Isai has 4 sewing machines and a cutter, and has various customers who recognize him as a good tailor, based on the trajectory that he and his father have taken.

Today, Isai requires financing to purchase cloth, thread, elastics, and buttons. This will permit him to acquire better prices and the primary materials he needs to fulfill his present orders.

In the future, Isai wants to expand his tailor shop so that he can add employees who will assist him in completing orders faster. His immediate goal is to buy a double-needle industrial sewing machine to facilitate job completion.
