A loan of $825 helped to pay the deposit on some twenty acres of land.

Pablo Emilio's story

Condega is a town in north of the Estelí department, and is known as a land of potters because of its artisan products, and for its hard-working people. Here, Pablo lives in a neighbouring community, with his wife and two children, whom he must support and provide with an education. Pablo is a small-scale farmer, growing basic grains and raising cattle

Known as an honest and hard-working person, Pablo has around thirty acres of land with sections for cattle and growing crops.

Pablo recently came to visit the Ceprodel office and is applying for a loan to pay the deposit on some twenty acres of land. On this new land, Pablo hopes to benefit by increasing the area used for his crops and the pastures for his herd of cattle. He does not currently have much space for the cattle.

Pablo has had various loans and has been working with Ceprodel for eight years. The impact and benefits of these loans have been very positive for Pablo and his family. They will now have a farm with a larger area for farming production and cattle and this will allow them to improve their financial situation with the income they will earn.
