Suren's story

Suren is 48 years old and he lives in Ddmashen village, which is in the Gegharkunik area, with his big and lovely family. Suren’s wife is a librarian at their village library. They have four children: three daughters and a son. Their son works at the police, the eldest daughter works as a teacher, the second daughter is a student and the third is school-aged.

Suren has no higher education but for many years he worked as a bricklayer. His family is big and their needs are countless, Suren and his wife do their best to provide better living conditions for their children.

Today Suren and his wife are engaged in agriculture and farming. He cultivates potatoes, tomatoes and some greens, which he sells locally. His farm is rich with three cows, a calf, four sheep and twelve chickens.

Suren wants to buy young calves in order to enlarge his farm and he asks a loan of 400,000 Armenian drams. Suren has already taken one loan from Nor Horizon and this time he has a strong desire to cooperate with Kiva lenders also.
