Rosa Herlinda's story

is a 34 year old woman. She is married and the mother of 5 children. The 3 youngest are in different grades of primary school and the 2 oldest work and don't go to school. She was able to finish one year of primary school thanks to her parents' support. She has experience growing coffee since she has done it for more than 9 years with her husband. The land they grow on in their own thanks to many years' savings. The land is located 6 kilometers from her house and she goes by car and sometimes on foot with her two oldest children, who work as helpers. Right now she is asking for help to buy a greenhouse to grow coffee and then enlarge her crop later and have a larger quantity of product planted. In the future she hopes to have enough capital to be able to buy a plot of land and grow more coffee. Her goals are to educate her children and leave them a piece of land they can make income from and not have to work on rented land.
