A loan of $500 helped to buy fertilizers for her coffee crop.

Sandra Yaneri's story

Sandra, 22, is a young, dynamic woman who lives with her common-law husband and two children, a daughter in kindergarten and a little boy. She received a complete primary education thanks to much effort and sacrifice and the support of her parents who taught her when she was young to cultivate coffee, corn, beans, etc.

Sandra and her partner have been growing coffee for three years on their own land which they inherited from her parents-in-law. The land is 300 meters from home so they walk there every day.

She is requesting a loan to buy fertilizer for her crops to help care for the roots, leaves and bean, to insure a healthy crop.

Her plans are to expand her cropland, care for it and integrate more technology so she can obtain an excellent harvest. Her goal is to save enough money to send her children to the university so they can get training and be able to take over the family business when they inherit the land.
