A loan of $1,350 helped to buy fertilisers for her coffee crops.

Luisa's story

Luisa is 48 years old, divorced and a mother to one son. She did not go to school as her parents did not have the financial means to help her study. It was Luisa's parents that taught her to work the land and to grow coffee, corn, beans and more. Luisa has a lot of experience as she has been working the land for twenty years. She sells to her products to her neighbours in small amounts and to other people who come to the region looking for good prices. She also sells to intermediaries who sell her products on.

Luisa is applying for help in order to buy fertilisers for her crops. With such a product, she will be able to strengthen then crops' immune systems, all the way from the roots up to the grains themselves.

In the future Luisa plans to expand her coffee crops in order to produce better results. Her biggest priority is giving her son a good upbringing as she places all her hopes and happiness in him.
