Farzana's story

Farzana is a 36-year-old independent woman. She has four children and her husband died six years ago.

She has been doing a cloth business in her house for six years and this is the only source of income for her family. Due to the large household expenses, she is facing a lot of problems in life.

She has requested a loan from Kiva’s partner BRAC Pakistan. She wants to expand her business by opening a garment shop in the market as she is not getting enough customers in her house. She would also buy some new variety of shirts and dresses to attract more customers. This loan could help her to increase her monthly income and savings for the better future of her children.
