Avetik was born and currently lives in the village of Goght, which is in the Kotayk region of Armenia. He is 54 years old and lives with his wife, son, daughter-in-law, daughter and grandchild. Avetik and his family members have to work hard days and nights in order to sustain their big family. The main income for Avetik and his family comes from their agricultural business. Their region is known for its delicious flavors and different varieties of sweet fruits, especially apples.

Avetik has a large apple orchard. He also grows cherries and walnuts. Avetik sells the products from their orchard at the fruit markets in Yerevan. He also breeds cows and chickens on his farm. Avetik is very pleased by his agricultural business and happy that he can meet his big family's needs by earning profits from his farming.

Avetik wants to increase the number of his animals and hopes to receive a good profit next season. He is asking for a loan of 600,000 AMD to buy two calves. This is Avetik's first loan with Kiva and second loan with Nor Horizon. He hopes that he will have good success in the future.
