A loan of $2,125 helped to make improvements and to buy paint, a metal curtain, a display case, a freezer, knives, and meat.

Hernándo De Jesús's story

Hernando, age 63, worked for over 27 years as a driver. However, he had to suspend his work due to a fracture in his right arm. He indicates that he is an active person with a great desire to work.

This is the reason that has driven him to request a loan to create a butcher business. He learned this trade thanks to his friends, who devote themselves to the same business activity.

His biggest dream is to ensure his family has a decent life and his two daughters, ages 19 and 15, have a good education. He will use the loan on improvements and paint. He will buy a metal curtain, a display case, a freezer, knives, beef, and chicken.
