A loan of $425 helped to buy groceries.

Luz Elena's story

Luz Elena lives in the municipality of Ticuantepe with her husband and two children. Her greatest dream is to be able to improve her living conditions. Her husband works in cultivation and for her part, Luz has a business selling food such as: enchiladas, tajadas (fried ripe banana pieces) with cheese, nacatamales (maize, meat and rice wrapped in banana leaves), tortillas, and junket.

With this loan she will be able to invest in her business and therefore earn better profits. With the profits, Luz invests in the construction of her house and helps her husband with the household expenses.

She thanks Afodenic and Kiva Funds for their support.
