A loan of $1,350 helped to purchase cement.

Brobyn's story

Please meet 35-year-old Brobyn from St. Paul in Liberia. St. Paul is home to the oldest market in Liberia and is known for its fish due to its location by the sea. St. Paul is a suburb located just outside Monrovia, past Freeport. It is one of the poorer areas and you will often find its residents living in sub-standard housing. Brobyn is married and his wife stays at home. He has four children between the ages of one and 16. His oldest child attends school and they all live at home. Brobyn completed school through grade 12.

For the past five years, Brobyn has owned a cement depot. On average, he works 15 hours a day. He started his business with money from his father. Brobyn's major business challenge is the rainy season. He transports his cement by truck and his favorite part of the business is his good location.

Brobyn is requesting a loan to purchase more cement and inventory. In the future, he would like to build a house and open another shop. Brobyn thanks you in advance for your support!
