Josephine is a resident of Bukakala, located on the outskirts of Mpigi. She is a 32-year-old married woman. Josephine has four children and also looks after one orphan.

She started her hair salon business in 2009, to help her take care of her elderly mother in the village and also to pay for her children's school fees.

She wants to buy hair cream and hair weaves for the salon. Josephine's dream is to build a big salon for herself and a nice house for her mother. The challenges she faces are competition and lack of enough capital. She is a hardworking lady, who does not give up until she has achieved what she wants.
